This is what I worked on so far, but Steven gave me some good advice :D , so I stopped where I was and I'm gonna wait til I get some excellent material. I probably need to double check the cover art's japanese title, cuz it might sound funny or say something else :o

Anyhoo, this is what I was aiming for: Saku is a bunny hybrid living in the human city of Kyoto. She believes that she and her family are the only ani-kind, but things change when a new girl shows up at school, a Wolf girl. Will nature takes its place and they'll be enemies, or embrace friendship in a world ruled by humans? And what's with her dreams?

Thumper.
Your comic looks good. I think your use of japanese sfx is intersting, but you should make sure they match your panels. The one with the sound of chirping birds outside the window when the girl is waking up (chun chun) would work better if you revised the panel to show the window open with light shinning through to indicate morning better. Your title makes sense (the time of our lives)if you are trying to make it sound fun. Is that what you meant? It could also mean "our lifetimes". Is that what you had in mind? Anyway, I think what you have here look cool. Time for some tone!

Thanks Gio and Steven. I'll do just that. Most of it was drawn when I wasn't in a good time. Anyway, I think the second time around will be much better.

When are we going to get to see more pages?

Here is a page that I did with my new tools and paper. This page here is kind of like the one from my "8x11" manga, when Saku awakes from her dream, but instead of her eyes opening, we find her tumbling off her bed and slamming face first onto the floor. :D

lol Hahaaa Saku fall down and go boom. :) Is it wrong that I think she's got a nice badunkadunk? lol

I like how you draw light lines for your pencils man. I bear down really hard when I sketch. Makes it hard to erase. I gotta work on that. Pretty funny so far :) Keep it up bro. :)

Thanks Gio. And yes, she's gonna be very endowed ;)

When I pencil, I try to use the side of the lead, rather than the sharp tip. This keeps me from running the tip short. When I want to see how the small details will look, I use the sharp tip, lightly drawing in stuff like the eyes or lips, clothing detail, or thin individual hairs. Try that, see if it'll help :D

You just described the way I ink. All side of the pen tip and no front! You should try using a .03 mm pencil to draw with. I use one for finishing my pages. Keeps the lines nice and sharp.

I used to have a .03mm pencil, but the darn thing kept breaking the leads.
